I am not saying every sales agent is influsnced by this, the best ones understand the importance of brokerage relationships and will not want to hurt their reputation within the community by having  word spread that they are being unresponsive and then the MLS shows the dual agent settlement but there are instances when this happens.

I don't know whether you are dealing with a 4-inch or 6-inch pipe, but even a 4-inch pipe should be perfectly capable of handling 2 single family homes if it is in working condition.Hard to believe someone installed the clean-out backwards, but unless this is actually where your backup problem originates, I doubt anyone will make you correct that one.

While many of the requirements are "good" in theory, like backflow prevention devices on hose bibs, to me it is unfair if they don't require this on every house vs just rentals.While some people think it adds a level of safety or "upgrade" to the community, to me it is a cost and that cost will be passed on to the tenants, who could by choice decide to live in a house without the checklist vs living in one that requires the checklist.To me it is a violation of the 4th Amendment....illegal search and seizure.
