For the series of letters/post cards that you send out to different lists, do your letters actually flow from one to the next to the next, etc., or are they just several different letters that don't make any reference to previous mail you've sent them?

A few years ago my friend was at the beach watching credit card solicitors walking up to the students offering credit cards and simply saying "sign here".I remember my parents teaching me to save a little and spend a little.

I'm not knocking on any doors now b/c I'm giving up short sales and moving into probates. 1 thing I also used to do was knock on the neighbors doors before I left, I was able to get good info like if they still live there, what time are they usually home etc........I always left them a card and told them if they got the homeowner to call me and I was able to help them out I would throw the neighbor some cash, it was my way of turning them into birddogs :mrgreen:

It will reduce your debt payment to income ratio and that is ALWAYS a good thing.However, if you have other debt, like credit card, car loans and such, PAY THOSE OFF FIRST.

Sad thing though, we had to dilerbaretly go late, just to get the lenders to help us..then, at the cost of our FICO's tanking, all the house of cards came tumbling down (credit card apr's went up-no surprise-refi's we were in the middle of-other properties-went South, etc..)...at least for all that pain, and suffering, this is a nice little surprise.Thanks for your reply.Vivienne
