I've been reading this site and REI information for a long time, and have been wanting to break into real estate investing.

Patrick:This is my first post on this site, but let me warn you that as an HOA Manager and a Real Estate Investor, Condo's require more research than single family homes.I have seen investors lose a large amount of money in Condo's because they did not research the HOA's finances, condition of the HOA, and the HOA's Board of Directors!

I've been approaching the listing agents (instead of using a buyer's agent) this time, with some success.I've been finding the listings off of sites like "Realtor.com" and then calling the listing agent.

If you spend any time on this site or reading about what we're trying to do, you'll notice that our goal is to make those kinds of events obsolete.We've spoken with several potential speakers who indicated that they would need to have some time to promote their company, and we let them know that we weren't interested in having them any more.
