Things people in a hurricane critically need: Bottled water, leather work gloves, heavy garbage bags and sanitizing wipes (baby wipes are also good for this).

In my case, now, in my location, I'd simply make a notice of demand as with a note and deed of trust and proceed to foreclosure if I couldn't get them to pack thier bags and provide a DIL under acceptable terms.

I would rather travel or save it.If I was meeting contractors and had multiple cars, I would drive the crappiest one there.
