Zariyan S. Granite or quartz for kitchen?

Hi,Currently wife and I are living in a house we’re planning to rent out perhaps 2-3 years from now.The expected rent is about $2200 in the DFW area.We are currently remodeling the kitchen and have either the options of going with granite or quartz.Cost wise granite will be $2700 and quartz is $4200We quarts is basically maintenance  free but is the price worth it?

But 1) there is likely to be long term rent and market appreciation 2) you will have equity pay down.  3) If there was a good rehab done, many of the bigger cap ex items will be years from now (new or like new kitchens, baths, windows, HVAC, flooring, paint, etc.).

Meaning paint kitchen cabinets, change out countertops, refinish hardwoods upstairs, and install new LVP flooring on lower level (kitchen, dining, living area, bathroom and mud room).
