We do not have any subsidized units; all of our units are rented to working people primarily because our units rent faster than the local housing authority can move.We have decided to sell these units-- not because we can't get good tenants but because we can't fix the neighborhood and I'm just so tired of dealing with neighborhood litter and dumping.

Capital losses are deductible to the extent that you have capital gains or $3,000 per year.I haven't looked at the book and don't know the author but I would be a little concerned if it is not a tax professional who wrote the book.

Once you pay Brian one time to set up your plan you then have check book authority and a small one time fee to the custodian.. plus the custodian has nothing to do with your transactions you handle them all yourself.
