I know he's out of the building, but he's right.What most non-business types don't get, is that in our society and economic system, transactions are deemed to be fair when consideration given reflects the true value and that the fees added are based on the value of the service rendered, not some figure pulled out of thin air as to what you may have someone agree to pay.

Also love the discount memorandum thing...I'm definetly going to be using that in the future :)What I'm realizing from this thread is that, yes, tenants are an essential aspect to your business and it would definitely be worth it in terms of opportunity cost and the reflection on your brand in some cases to potentially be lenient with tenants that have earned that right to.

I'm looking to see if anyone has had success in disputing by putting together an case with the following:- Photographs of the indicating the unfinished square footage in the basement- Amendment to the Master Deed to adjust the sq ft amounts- Finding "comps" for units of like size in the area to reflect a lower, more appropriate valuation.Thanks!
