I would also add that plumbing for all those extra bathrooms is going to be another cost.I don't know that the loft conversions can be done "cheaply" or for value based rents, hence why the loft style living is considered "luxury."

Some use cubic feet, some gallons etc... the conversion if you get the wrong meters will suck, so match your meters to the provider. oh- I use badger disk meters- because someone will ask!
