Hello all, I just purchased my first 3/2 SFR in NE Pensacola and it needs advanced cosmetic work: cabinet finishing, countertop replacement, a window, roof repair, some wallpaper and texturing work, minor water damage in bathroom ceilings in vicinity of leaking roof boots.

Appliances need to be spotless inside and out, floors not only swept but also mopped, rugs cleaned, all bathroom fixtures sparkling, cabinets and drawers free of crumbs etc etc. 

but, yes, even in concrete block houses, the termites can still have a buffet on wood rafters, interior wood walls, and cabinets.

A white countertop on white cabinets?

I told him three times from time to time that when it rained really bad that it would run down the wall and make a big puddle, so obviously that meant rain was coming in through the roof in between the walls, we started seeing where there was spots of mold in the kitchen cabinet by the sink.

Should the cabinets, countertops, paint and tile all match in the kitchen and both master bathroom and secondary bathroom?

Design the kitchen first and order the cabinets immediately, as they will be the hold up on completion if not ordered fast.

Problem is, now that I own the house and in the process of remodeling bathrooms, putting in cabinets and appliances, painting the entire house etc., I was told via email from the Planning Department that because there are no regulations for STRs, STRs are NOT ALLOWED.

I paid about $1600 for those cabinets.
