I have a high end single family home that I is for long term leases (monthly rent is $6k). 

But taking the long view, those low fixed rate 30 year mortgages are some of the best hedges against inflation you can have.

I get much more cashflow from distressed properties that I pay cash for and fix up to be LTR'S. 

I am getting back what is left of my home to rehab the end of March and it is going to run me approx. 40K to fix.

Would there be other tax benefits for high wage earners and what would those be?
