there are thousand upon thousands of successful investor that came before both of us. if this avenue you speak of was feasible, it would already have a catchy name to it and be popular. 

Then you have to add the cost of moving around, storage, private health insurance, etc. 

I have and will continue to use them whenever feasible.

This is not what you asked, however I am going to throw another thought in: If you can find mobile home parks or certain RV parks, you can likely get more accelerated bonus depreciation than with other types of assets, multifamily, self-storage, etc.

So it's not uncommon after a project that there's a couple hundred feet of 12/2 still left, and that will go into our storage facility for the next project.

Where does everyone go to find out if a storage  facility is feasible in the area?  

My partners and I recently purchased a small self storage facility outside of OKC.

I'm having trouble getting a quote or even opinion of the feasibility to do so since I don't actually own one yet.

Killed the weeds in the lawn, put down sod, rehabbed the nasty garage and shop to make them look appealing, added a finished attic storage area to the garage, painted kitchen cabinets, installed new AC and all new plumbing.

Given the restrictions I’m seeing on STRe in several towns, trying to determine feasibility.
