I would like to transfer my ticket for $850.

I was told I cannot get a refund but I can transfer by 1 October.

I am currently looking into applying for a credit card in hopes of liquidating the credit limit via bank transfer, and I am curious if anyone has experience doing that.Main concerns:1) How badly does it ding personal credit?

As mentioned, shockingly, there is no option to transfer a listing (as simple as it would be for Airbnb & Vrbo to create).What we do is get the guest contact information and booking details from the previous owner/host/property manager, and draft a message to existing guests from the previous owner/host/property manager, explaining the situation and asking the previous owner/host/property manager to send it to the guest then almost immediatly after we reach out to the guest following up ideally by phone. 

LLC strategies (transferring property into an LLC, then LLC membership) do not work and will still trigger a full reassessment.

Do I use one of the online banks?

Local banks or credit unions are often better for creative lending, while bigger banks can make transactions and accounting simpler

Essentially, we are good as long as we have a separate personal bank account to route everything through?
