We had some smokers in our house once and I kept their $500 damage deposit for breaking those rules that are clearly stated.If you don't have a damage deposit, I would add one but I would also pull that Booking.com listing.

Bedroom doors get kicked in, windows broken, holes appear in walls, blinds & screens ruined, cigarette burns on countertops & carpets, etc.

Secondhand smoke seems to cause more damage for non-smokers than for the smokers.

If the applicant reeks of cigarettes, they are not for me.
