These are all neighborhoods that might still be a bit gritty but generally are overall decent enough right now and have upside to gentrify (or continue to) in the future in my opinion.Brighton Heights, Observatory Hill, Troy Hill, Millvale, Etna, Larimer, Crafton Heights, Wind Gap, Chartiers City, Carrick, Beechview, Allentown, Hazelwood, Homestead, Uptown, Coraopolis, Ambridge.Outside of these we have a ton of "river towns" which are older neighborhoods located along each of the three rivers that branch out from downtown here that are solid rental areas.

It's been, and will continue to be, one of the stronger vacation markets on the east coast, and from a tax strategy perspective, I can still plan on bonus depreciation, which is material in my individual case.Thanks for any thoughts from those on the ground, or those with existing STRs in the market!

I just realized I have too much property taxes due next month and my downpayment will not be enough and put a strain on me financially if i were to continue.
