We moved away from our units, so we use a property manager now, but we did it quasi in-house and never charged an application fee. 

Innago - Applicants are required to pay a $35 application fee upon submitting their application.

We use services like Verifast and Plaid to verify directly with payroll or the applicant’s bank.

Hi all, I am using RentRedi for tenant screenings and receive this message for the criminal report for all my applicants: A criminal search cannot be completed for your applicant because certain local regulations necessitate the implementation of a 2-phase screening process and confirmation of implementing a 2-phase screening process has not been provided.I am in Cook County, IL and it recently became law that credit and other screenings have to be reviewed and accepted first before a criminal report can be viewed.

Right now I am using Avail and I'm not loving it as I cannot upload my own rental application.

I set the Credit Score as 650+ negotiable in Zillow and I had two immediate applications with very bad scores.
