All state or country land trusts favor owner-occupants, and some exclude non-locals from purchase.

Hi @Franklyn Benjamin, the key is understanding exactly how the trust is structured and ensuring clear title can be transferred.

Although these are not trust or will, they will gum up the estate closure so these need to be addressed.
