Hey everyone! My name is Ben Shipley. Im originally from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Currently reside in Dallas, Texas. I work for residential real estate developer here in DFW focusing in high end single family homes and large multifamily. I currently only have 1 rental property, but am hungry to expand.
Newbie investor, well kinda. Currently have 1 SFH investment in Northern CA that we've owned for 15 years...recently purchased our first OOS MF in Ohio. You'd think we'd know a little more about REI, but no, we don't. And that's why I'm here on BP - to learn and share my experiences with this wonderful community!
I currently have absolutely NO experience in real estate. I've been reading around BP for a while now. Looking at making some sort of investment in real estate, hopefully sometime soon. However looking to gain some more insight before making that big decision.
First of all... I love all things Real Estate! The money, the deal, the chase, the disappointment, and most of all the challenge. Ever day is different along with every deal.
