I grew up loving houses. Just working on them and designing houses and landscapes in my head all the time. I worked as a carpenter for a year while in college. Still my second favorite job. Second to my 12 years as a U.S. Marine. Now I would like to get back to that passion and do something with it.

I'm a new investor and currently have five properties. Four are rentals and the other I plan to sell. I am preparing for retirement and would like to have ten rentals paid for at retirement or ten years from now. I purchased the first three properties out of pocket with no borrowed money.
