I'm a 31 yr old electrician making around 70k/year. I currently rent a room and desire investing because I don't see a retirement in a company in my future. My family has never owned a home, I've never even lived in a house. My credit is above 700 but I've no down payment saved.I have only read books about investing.

I am currently 17 years old and trying to expand my knowledge as much as possible so I can jump into the investment game as soon as possible. I am open to all ideas and information and am willing to help other investors wherever I can to learn more by being flung into the actual world of investing.
