Several years ago, I left my regular job to become a full time real estate investor. I bought several single family homes in Columbus, Dayton and Memphis as well as some multifamily properties - a four unit, eight unit and a 22 unit. Over the past few years, I sold all of my active investments and now my current focus is passive investing in syndications. I am involved in over 100 syndications in multi-family, industrial, mobile homes, ATM's, self storage and other asset classes. When I was an active RE investor, I started a monthly meetup group with a few other investors in Columbus called Central Ohio Investor Network, COIN. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month and have a speaker followed by networking. We met virtually during the pandemic, but the group is now meeting in person again. In March of 2020 I started another networking group called Left Field Investors. We provide education and networking for those interested in using passive investing in syndications to grow wealth by acquiring real assets that produce real cash flow. In September of 2024, we partnered with BiggerPockets to create PassivePockets. We have the same mission as we had at Left Field Investors, though now we have the resources through BiggerPockets to really be able to help syndication investors on their journeys.
