Celebrating 11 Years of BiggerPockets

Hey everyone! 

Just wanted to throw a shoutout to the community and thank everyone for helping us reach our 11th birthday today!

That's right, BiggerPockets was founded 11 years ago today, and the 11th year was an explosive one. we reached a ton of milestones, including:

-Over 30 million people have come through BiggerPockets since its inception.

-We currently have 382,458 members from nearly every country on earth.

-The BiggerPockets Podcast has been downloaded over 9,000,000 times.

-The Forums now have 1,559,373 posts, with thousands of new posts each day, making them some of the largest and most active forums on the internet.

-And so much more!

    Are you guys planning to create some charts/plots showing the growth like number of member, posts, etc?

    Not sure how many years I've been a member, but still LOVE this site! CONGRATS! @Joshua D. you and your wife had a GREAT idea. There's nothing else like it in the entire world - that should really make you proud. Best wishes on the future successes.

    @Joshua Dorkin  Congratulations, and may you enjoy many more years of growth!  I'm a recent member, having enjoyed learning from the podcasts and forums (I'm more of a lurker than a poster), but find that the information provided is always causing me to think about how to improve or grow my business.  Thanks for all you do.

    I also seriously wish I would have found this site earlier, but am so thankful to be here now. Who would have thought people with real knowledge and experience would be so friendly and willing to share? Here's to another 11 years!

    Thanks Josh, this community has been crazy good to me over the years. I've said it before and will say it some more; without BP Nation I doubt I'd have succeeded in real estate.

    Data junkie that I am I've collected stats over the last 5 plus years that clearly quantifies the growth of my business as a direct result of interacting with the PEOPLE that make this site great.

    Josh, you saw the value of social networking way ahead of most and fused it with the best wealth building concepts of all time. I salute the vision and thank you for letting me be a part of it.

    Happy birthday BP! Blow out your candles and make a wish.....mine already came true :-)

    Congrats to you Josh for being a pioneer with a vision and sticking to it!!

    I was into buying real estate before I stumbled across the BP site but the tools, insights and the social network that you have created brought so much insight: know how, know why, know where, know what, know when.... delivered in a transparent and open way.... I appreciate your emphasis on taking action!!

    ..All of this has helped me to make the shift from buying real estate to investing in real estate. Thank you Josh and the BP Community!

    Congratulations to 11 years of Real Estate awesomeness!! (A little over 10 of which I wish I had been a part of because who knows where I would have been if I knew then what I know now).

    I want to especially thank you for starting the biggest collection of RE knowledge I have ever seen (and I have looked around!) I have learned what is probably thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of info through the podcasts, blogs, webinars, and especially the forums themselves. (I do too much lurking and not enough contributing but I want to change that). 

    I really want to start giving back to this awesome community in any way that I can which brings me to...

    I will see you at this Wednesday's webinar and I'll be going pro for sure.  I'm especially excited since a multi family is how I want to get started. (Securing myself a good RE lawyer via an interview this coming Monday and getting off my butt to obtain pre-approved bank financing wish me luck lol).  

    And finally: thank you to everyone for keeping this place alive for the past 11 years!  Yea it seems like that's something Joshua should be saying (even though I'm also a Joshua but you know what I mean ) but all the helpful and knowledgeable folks over at BP is truly the lifeblood of the site in my opinion.  So thanks everyone!!!
