Why hasn't R.E. gotten me a wife?

I've made it to financial freedom with real estate and still I can't find a women that's interesting. I mean, yes I talk about real estate all day, but that should be very interesting. Where have I gone wrong? I work out a lot as well. Biceps for days. I guess I need more units. Anyone else find him or herself in my situation? If so, let's trade notes and figure this out IMO...

I have found that men really dig a lady who gets down and dirty as they would during rehabbing a home. Just the other day, I met a new plumber on site at one of my rentals he was quite intrigued by the fact that I knew what a shower divertor was and the process he would need to take to fix my issue. I had failed to disclose that I have done it all in majority of my renovations. Just because I look like I can't swing a hammer doesn't mean I can't. I told him don't let the looks fool you!

Seriously. I mean, when was the last time you saw a billionaire with a woman on his arm less than a 9 or 10? It just doesn't happen.

you could try syndication. spread the risks and costs. If you're not as picky or on a tight budget there's always crowdfunding.

Why not just go to meetup.com, and start your own local Real Estate Singles meetup group? State it can be for agents, investors, etc... only criteria is that you're single! If you're serious about finding someone, and want to build your portfolio, you need an asset not a liability! The right partner can help you do amazing things!
I wouldn't suggest the local REI meetings, at least in my experience it's a strong 90% men-10% women, and the 10%... probably 80% of them are married, so your odds are very, very unlikely there! It's a sausage fest, and people are there for deals and networking, not really to talk about personal lives.
How about the first event is a game night playing monopoly and start off by saying "Okay,... I already own 5 buildings".. that will be a good lead!

Hi @Frankie Woods there are a lot of women who are interested in Real Estate, but hopefully that's not the only thing you talk about. I find that a lot of men are looking for the wrong type of woman, they mainly stop at looks when the nice lady has been right in front of them all along. Keep going you will find someone. I wish you much success.

@Frankie Woods - My first husband was not involved with REI and was a financially irresponsible spender. So when I got divorced in 2017 and back on the dating saddle I thought for sure I was going to end up with someone else in REI.
Why not? It is my passion, it is my life, it is basically all I talk about. It would make total sense for me to partner with someone who loved what I loved and was the same level of financial freedom as me.
It didn't end up that way. I met someone outside of REI who has zero interest in it at all. Difference is he is financially responsible and not a spender. So while our work is different, we are on the same page about finances and spending. He is actually cheaper than I am, and I am pretty cheap.

On a serious note... it's a lot more important that they be interested in you as a person versus interested in real estate.
Real estate (albeit a big part of your life) is not who you are. If they're interested in YOU, they'll be interested enough in real estate when you want to talk about it since they know it's a big part of your life.
I've been married 11 years and have run/did the REI stuff solo. Thanks to REI neither of us have jobs anymore. But that's why she likes me... but it is a perk! lol

this thread was hilarious...I will say if your looking for a woman who has the same passion for you in real estate just start being active and provide value in real estate forums and groups. But don't go there looking! because women can sense when someone is thirsty :). Just be genuine and you and you never know what will come..I say this from experience because this is how I ended up dating a guy I met on a real estate forum. He was nice genuine and helpful and then we got to now each other on a personal level and clicked ;). just don't start marrying someone in your mind just because you both have the same interst and attration. Take it slow..

Seeking Arrangement.... While I'm not currently looking to settle down, I enjoy traveling to #1 enjoy other cities, #2 scope real estate, #3 enjoy said cities with intelligent female company on short notice without the typical dating hoops to jump through just to be able to have true quality time with a great lady. Yes, there's broke college girls on there looking for a guy to pay her regularly, but, there are also business women, doctors, etc, who also realize the need to trim the fat. They don't want money, they want time with a mentor and want to meet business minded people with goals that fundamentally align. They are potentially partners in more than business.

Core positions are up front when asked. The ladies you will find are far more transparent and honest than anywhere else. They seem to understand the bottom line. This is not to say that it can't be found via other methods, but as someone who travels to major cities for fun/business on the weekends, the system efficiently connects me to incredible women. It is not a dating game, it is a relationship. Discretion is key. Find winners.

Your local REIA has lady investors.
Get your RE license, lots of lady agents.
Ask your friends for blind dates. Never know.
Go get a "temporary" job and meet your future wife like most people do at the J.O.B. (Just over broke).
