Shower or Shower Tub combo?

Hi,

Thank you in advance for your assistance. I am remodeling a 2 bed/1 bath house, and the bathroom is too small for a separate shower and tub. Do you think I should just do a shower or a shower/tub combo? I just simply can't decide.

@Karen Casey I’ve done both depending on the situation.

I’ve done just an upscale shower with beautiful glass door in a very small bathroom in a 3/1 and it’s been perfectly fine.

I’ve also done a tub shower that requires a shower curtain in a 3/1 and it’s been perfectly fine.

Personally I prefer the shower with the glass door because I feel it leads to less water leaking and therefore less floor damage and wall damage down the road due to inappropriate shower curtain usage.

Obviously I accept children and have children in my units and do not discriminate in any way against any type of tenants but feel like if you end up missing out on a few prospective tenants because they’re young children can’t use your shower only bathroom I’m sure there will be other tenants around the corner who will love the shower and be happy to have it.
