Happy New Year all! My name is Keri S. and I'm interested in building wealth through real estate investments. The only experience I have so far is buying my primary residence. I would like to learn more about real estate investing, especially the buy and hold method.

My short term goal is to purchase 1-2 rental properties by the end of 2016. My long term goal is to use my investments in real estate to gain financial and time freedom.

I'm glad that I came across Bigger Pockets while doing my initial search on investing in real estate. I'm excited to learn valuable information and tips for REI!

Hey @Keri S.

Im also in the Metro Atlanta area,  I'm an investor and developer, been investing in Atlanta since 2004,  let me know if you have any questions, maybe I can help.  wish you the best

Hello everyone.  I am new to bigger pockets as well.  I look forward to building great relationships and making great investments.

I have been a real estate agent in Atlanta since 2003 and opened up my own real estate firm last year.

Feel free to inbox me if you need any help finding properties in FMLS or listing any properties.

My partner and I would be happy to help.

Keri S. I am working on number 2 in college park. My philosophy is buy hold and turn into short term vacation rentals.

Nice. I wish you much success with finding your second property. What's your reason for wanting to turn them into vacation rentals?

Thank you! I will be in touch.

@Keri S. I started doing this with my primary home. My mortgage is 1300 and I was making 4K gross after paying miscellaneous and mortgage, with only 12 days rented for the month. My minimum stay is 3 days. For me it is an in between of flipping and holding

That sounds like a great blend of the two!

Welcome to the world of REI @Keri S. Come on out to the Atlanta REIA meeting this coming Monday. It is going to be pretty good. Look out for me there. This will also be a great place to make some good connections with investors, wholesalers and learn what you need to know.
