Hey Julian. I was born and raised in San Francisco and got stated investing as an OOS investor back in 2021. Happy to help out and be a resource and share my OOS investing experiences to help avoid the same mistakes I've made. 

I'd recommend attending some local networking events. I know there's a lot of investors from the bay that invest out of state as well. That's great way to get your feet wet and learn what they're seeing in other markets as well.
