ok -- so maybe the fact that I keep track of stuff like this reveals a little touch of vanity, or a lack of humility, or both. But please remember, I'm strictly a by-the-numbers real estate investment guy, so tracking and analyzing data like this is hard-wired into my DNA.

As of 12/31/2010 my book, "What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow... And 36 Other Key Financial Measures" has sold more than 70,000 copies.  So apparently I'm not the only person on the planet who believes that you need to run the numbers before you put your money on the table. 

If you were one of those 70,000 readers, I want to say thank you; and I certainly hope you found the material there to be worthwhile. Was there something you considered especially helpful, or something about which you wanted to learn more?
