  1. I think any aspiring agent should read The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller.

By the way, number 6 is a pet peeve of mine, it never ceases to amaze me.

    1. Thanks Andrew,

I read the Millionaire RE agent and it was decent.  He should have edited the book better.  I don't like when people repeat themselves over and over throughout a book.  All and all it was good, but I think the writing / editing should have been better.  The book could have been condensed dramatically.  My BIGGEST problem with the book was the "visual aids" - They are SO BAD that they would just confuse me as to what I read.  After the first few chapters I said to my self "don't look at that figure unless you want to forget what you just learned"

I'm a little hyper critical, my mother is a writer and I have no tolerance for things that are not concise and crystal clear.  Graphics are made to enhance, and in that case they do not.

      Cheers,

      Mark

      1. I agree with you, although I feel that's almost a universal criticism of real estate books. I guess they have to meet some page threshold to justify the price.
