Networking - Get some Ideas Going!

Tell Anyone and Everyone that you are now in Real Estate. You never know who will be know of a deal or know someone else in Real Estate (a potential buyer)

1. Have an elevator speech…what you do in a 30 second elevator ride: “I’m a real estate investor. I buy homes at a discount and sell homes at a discount. If you know of anyone looking to buy or looking to sell please let me know or pass my information along to them."

2. Partner up with other Wholesaler…you can split the deals and do less than half the work. 

3. Share your goals and commitments with people you meet. The more you tell others the better chance you have of following through. Remember it is easier to let yourself down, but harder to let others down. So the more people you tell the more people you don’t want to let down. Keeping you on track!

4. The more time you spend working and talking with others the more you’ll learn about the market. What’s hot and what’s not. That way you’ll avoid making mistakes, because the person “selling the home” or “getting a commission on the home” are not dictating to you the value, you better understand from interacting with other investors and power team members.

5. Power Team Members – the best way to get good members for your power team is to get referrals from other investors. Who do they use for Property Management, Title Work, Financing, etc. Networking will get you all the contacts you need which will save you tons of time.
