Real estate blogging is fast growing as it is a handy tool for realtors and agents to reach out to large audience in a short amount of time. It is not hard yet can be time consuming. But with the right tool and research, one can blog almost daily. Here are the 6 tips to get you started:

The content. Blogging should be daily and at least once a week. Research the hot current real estate topic and start writing based on your own experiences. Make the topic explorative and this will captivate the audience attention. Another way to come up with the topic and do your research to write is answering the clients’ question(s). These questions might be common and other clients might be asking the same so an answer to a question can be a blog.

The cost. This is not expensive at all. Less than $60 on WordPress which can be disseminate widely.

Incorporating tips along the way. Real estate blogging tips are free. Bloggers should continually seek out for blogging tips and make the best use of them to enhance their blogs. Also consider to be a local real estate blogger where you will be able to narrow down your audience and gain a greater attention.

Consider making client interactions as the talking points. Everyday client interactions and work deals would generate a wide variety to ideas for the topic. As a blogger, you can write one topic a day based on those interactions. By answering client’s question and bring up a new idea in a blog, it is useful for the readers and can even be trust-building after awhile.

Networking. Attend local town hall meetings and associations’ meetings to first introduce yourself to the local community and second, to gather pressing topics and address them in the blogs. Attending meetings is another good way to put yourself out there as a local real estate agent as well as to introduce your blogs.

Creating a monthly newsletter. If you are not blogging every day, you can think about writing a monthly newsletter that comprise of trending topics in real estate. This will engage and keep the readers in the loop with real estate while enhance your credibility as a local real estate agent. Afterall, who does like to pick up a concise and to-the-point newsletter and catch up with current trending issues in their community while on the move?
