Do you pray? or Do you ask for God’s will?

If you do pray then tell me: When you pray, do you ask God for what you want and need or do you ask for God’s will?

When I pray, I ask God to do whatever is best for me and for others. This gives me a sense of calmness and relief.

Many people have faith and they just know that the best will happen for them, even if at times it seems like it is not the best and things have just happened to them.

It took me many years to come to that level of trust, faith, and peace of mind and it only happened when I looked back at events in my life and started connecting the dots.

Take a moment to reflect on past events in your life. Things you thought were bad and see how afterward they ended up being much better and maybe even the best thing that could’ve happened.

Life is a series of events that either build on themselves to create a wonderful momentum or are just fragmented pieces of trial and error.

I pray that God gives me the opportunity to be at the right place at the right time, and the wisdom to recognize it when it happens so that I can do the right thing in the right way to have the right results for the right reasons.

Only a selfish person wants things to go his/her way without consideration for family, friends, or the people they are working with. The greater good for the greater number is a philosophy that must be observed and applied at all times.

Some people live in a one-dimension world. They think of themselves and only themselves. They end up almost always frustrated no matter the outcome. Greed gets the best of them.

May God’s will be on earth and may you get what you earn and deserve so you can prosper and do well for yourself and others.

And may all your wishes and prayers come true.

Sincerely,

Cherif Medawar
