Future Proof Your Investment Portfolio With A Hybrid Strategy

Is your investment portfolio future proof?

If you haven’t future-proofed your investment portfolio yet, then a hybrid strategy may be the key to securing your finances.

New Highs, Time to Make the Switch

It’s is great to see Dow Jones up to a new 22,000 record high, as well so many investors trying out note investing and flipping houses. It’s great to see them enjoying what they are doing, and learning to get the hang of it.

However, what I’ve found is that no single strategy will always work. No matter how good or profitable it is. At least, you can’t expect it to always deliver the same performance over the long term. You’ve got to keep growing and expanding if you want your returns and wealth to do the same. This applies to all businesses, careers, and certainly to the stock market.

The Dangers of Limited Investment Strategy

There are dangers of relying on, and sticking to only one strategy. Eventually returns become compressed or investors are pressured to do deals you wouldn’t dream of otherwise. Often, they trade quality in for quantity to make up for it, which can take you into new territory, which many aren’t equipped to manage.

Right now, we can see this in the stock market and price to earnings. It is showing up in the secondary mortgage market with higher pricing on some types of loan notes. And it is no secret that in some cities house flippers and newer rental property investors are fiercely bidding up prices to the point where they offer little profit. All of these things still work, but only when you are buying in at the right price.

I’ve flipped houses, owned rentals, and invested heavily in mortgage notes. What I now believe is the best strategy for sustainability and long-term growth and consistent performance is to deploy a hybrid strategy.

Conclusion

You want to be diversified, and be confident in what you are investing in, while knowing that your asset managers have a long history of successfully managing those types of assets and investments too. That’s why the NNG Capital Fund offers a hybrid solution, across notes, real assets, and utilizing a variety of strategies in each sub-sector.
