Marketing Your Auckland Apartment to Its Full Potential

How can you really tell if your apartment is being marketed to its full potential?

This is a very good question for all apartment owners who are selling their property in Auckland. The best way to answer this is to go online and check the website, Trade Me. Apartment owners, especially international owners, should check this site and browse its property section. Search for the name of your agent there, in order to know the true marketing efforts that your agent is putting up for your property.

Also, check if they published at least five or more photos of your apartment. Usually, a well-marketed apartment ad will have at least 16 to 17 photos and most of the images should be done professionally. Try looking at your ad and put yourself in the buyers’ shoes. Would you want to buy that apartment? What is your feedback on the ad they had published for you? Is it really that attractive? These questions are very important because this will be the basis that you need use when you talk to your agent.

Most apartment sellers know that most of their buyers come through Trade Me and it’s where you’re going to find your apartment ads. Just search your agent’s name or company and you will see the ad that they made for you. If you think that your apartment is not being marketed well, then you should confront your agent and tell him about your issue. They need to do their job and produce a well-thought of apartment ad for you, because this will affect how many enquiries you’re going to get and in the end – it will affect the final result.

Selling apartments in Auckland is a serious business and you should check if your real estate agent is also serious in marketing your property to its full potential. Don’t settle for less – be strict when it comes to your apartment, you’re the boss after all!
