I was advised to use a "biocide" but later I found that seems to be a generic term for a lot of things.EPA says not to use bleach, to use detergent instead.

I once helped a buddy do something like this, he left the water shut offs inside the house and built a "closet" outside that was big enough for the W/D and even put a small shelf for detergents etc and a hanger pole for convenience.

That standard things we buy from WalMart between vacancies are: deodorant soap, facial soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, dish scrubbing pad, toilet paper, paper towels and occasionally bath towels, bed sheets, dishwasher tabs and pillows.Every now and then I'll buy some adult dvds and print some advertising on mailing labels.
