You can't compete with gamblers.

Perhaps I'm a bit of a gambler but I see no reason in my family's situation where this account can't better take care of future medical needs.Like any form of investing or financial planning each individual needs to understand there unique situation, risk tolerance and goals.

Working a regular job equals safety and responsibility -- Investing in Real Estate equals high risk and a irresponsible gambler's mentality.  

A gambler at heart I'd say.You don't need to be really smart to get rich in RE; but it seems like the smarter you are in the market the more you can lose.

We are not gamblers but steady buy and hold investors with a goal of using the cash flow for our retirement and hopefully leave some assets for the next gen.
