I understand that the options include:1) obtaining this as a personal mortgage and then moving the property to an LLC, with the potential problems of a) triggering a due on sale clause, b) piercing the veil if I'm actually paying the mortgage, potentially negating asset protection benefits , and c) title insurance complications2) obtaining this as a personal mortgage and then moving the property to an LLC, and hoping for the best that the lender doesn't act on the due on sale clause.

This is a C+ neighborhood, the building is being fully remodeled and will be very nice after its done.

He told me he’s a property developer and that I should get my license and he will teach me the ropes when I’m licensed, so I signed up for school few days ago I start November 8th and since then I’ve been watching YouTube beginner videos and I found this podcast, so  I thought I’d post my story.

Have a plan B & C for that scenario..One questions though, Is the loan interest only for the whole ten years or is it only for a year, then principal kicks in (this is common).
