Seems like houses are just going left and right and only houses that seem to be reasonable are areas I’m not too comfortable buying in.

@Wa Chan I don’t know how the market is there but that CoC ROI is way too low for my comfort.

I can comfortably do 1 property at a time but I feel like it takes 3-6 months just to process a property. 

(And, if it's any comfort, this happens all the time minus the notice from the city; there was a post just this past week on the very same issue).The joy of running a business...

Either way you were able to provide the financial comfort to this guy in his last years and I think that’s definitely worth it.

I have some family I would not be comfortable doing a deal with because I don't think they have the emotional temperament required to compartmentalize the Family/Business. 

All in all, It took me about 2 months to be comfortable with the material and then the exam will not be as intimidating.

I did mention that I would be willing to take less is he didn’t feel comfortable with the 50/50 split.  

If yes, which areas are good and how do we understand how much we can afford comfortably? 

The reason I am wanting to be in real estate is to be able to retire from the company ideally once I've hit my 25 years, to live financially comfortable within my means and to leave something for my family when I am gone.
