I bought a brand new home all brick 3 years ago and it’s valued is up about 25%.

If you spend 500K on new construction in an area that has similar buildings worth around 300K and rents being at 3000, is it worth building a brand new place only worth 300K for 500K of your own money to then only get an extra 500 in rent?

The house was in disrepair, i am in consturution so we basically gutted the house and made it brand new What was the outcome?

Brand new as well, so I can't offer much in the way of advice, but I wanted to share that I first got interested in real estate when I was around 24/25. 

so I am brand new as a real estate agent that I am doing part time and wanting to invest.

That is how my wife & I have successfully built a large portfolio over many years allowing us to retire from our professional careers in healthcare.I would highly consider looking at new builds in FL that have excellent cash flow, strong appreciation in a great area on a brand new build that could have $30k+ of immediate equity! 

I hope you really put in a good effort on your flip, so you can start off building your personal "brand" as well as making money on a "flip".
