Case in point being they were either not notified of the inspection (owner didn’t want to deal with notifying them) or they were notified and they didn’t let your guys in (tenants just being difficult to be difficult).

Normally an appraisal would be ordered after inspection and the loan officer would check with you to make sure that you were ready for that step (and frequently notify your realtor as well).
