The only thing peripherally I can think of is most investment loans want an LLC on title, and a lender won't want you transferring an investment residence owned by an LLC into personal ownership by you.  

Downtown was and remains today walkable, safe, and vastly underrated, but I’d be cautious and ensure due diligence in areas around the peripheral.

I have no peripheral vision.

Given the advice on similar Biggerpockets discussions, we've expanded our search to include properties in Dundalk as well as areas on the peripheral of Charles Village, Old Goucher and Remington.  

Here it is by the numbers...13,988 leads loaded into Datazapp; from that 4,708 phone numbers generated; of those 1,858 vm's were left with the Lead Machine; from those 205 people called back; not counting the angry vm's and "stop calling me texts", I received 1 vm lead, and they had their house listed for full retail on the MLS.This little experiment put me out about $1500 for the annual membership and all the peripheral purchases for Datazapp and the RVM calls.I promise $1500 of direct mail will land me a minimum of two deals.

I presented in 3-4 minutes, and the defendant went on and on about peripheral items not related to the case.

But even in decent markets, I would think that if the dreaded Recession hits, those peripheral markets are going to get hit the hardest.

The greatest value is definitely intrinsic and peripheral.
