During the winter, we had a problem with ice damming at the front of the house.

Typically the issue we run into with old homes as it relates to roofs are ice dam issues.  

These are all mass repetitive "Contained" environments.Now the next great investment will be Auto over the road trucks, Nano Cancer treatments, Nano crop pesticide reduction, Solar electric surface paint generation, Water pumping technology from the Mississippi River to California/Arizona (reverse Dam management(actually don't recommend this, will cause excess salination of the Gulf)), Certified Individualized Student learning platforms, etc. 

If you are suing a vendor or a 1099 worker you better be dam sure you are using them properly.  

And is this Pittsburgh proper, or the near 'burbs, or are you talking about some place out in deer-crossing country in Washington County or up in Beaver? 

Wondering what the thoughts are in the community about whether or not Florida will be fine for at least a few hundred years in climate change.Whether you think sea levels will rise or not, let's just say hypothetically they rise by ten feet.I believe any urban or dense suburban area will be saved by humans through a system of dams, dikes, bars. 

The leaves will soon be falling in Cleveland which can be a problem for your gutters potentially leading to ice dams on your roof, water in your basement or a variety of other issues.

They build a dam several miles up, so the likelihood of flooding is very low, in addition to being a crawlspace build giving me another 2-2.5 feet of "what if".
