Long story short, I smelled a rat, and got out.

You usually do not find laundry mats, check cashing places, or liquor stores in an A or even B area.

Starting to wrangle as much cash as I can to do my first small deal and get some positive cash flow to exit the rat race!

It could feel like being stuck in a rat race.A better alternative is to explore books and podcasts from sources like Bigger Pockets.

I live outside the USA so that my money stretches further, I have better food, better lifestyle and I am out of the rat race in the USA.

I used to love everything about rentals and houses and remodeling and thought this would be my casual way out of the rat race.

I am still employed full-time, but I work from home so I have more time than most still stuck in the rat race, so I'm hoping to have a plan and a strategy by the end of 2024. 

I changed careers into something that has given me more freedom (realtor) but as I don't have enough to quit I still have a few toes in the rat race.
