Another alternative is to do things the way they do them in Germany.

There are things to be aware of that are negative and should be avoided but there are also companies that do things right, who offer good service to their investors, and who develop great relationships in the community, leading to good tenants, and good value in the assets.I am originally from Germany and Quality is something that is in our DNA.

Hi @Frank Patalano,What's holding me back is a) time to educate myself in knowing what steps to take and the type of investment that will work for me in this stage of my life and b) living in Germany and wanting to invest in the US.

Hard money lending doesn't exist in Germany.

I think the closest to Bigger pockets in Germany would be Wall Street (https://www.wallstreet-online....), albeit you have to remember that due to the different nature of the people (US vs Germany), dynamics there are slightly different. 

I am also personally considering, despite being uncertain of it's value for me being in Germany.

The problem was I was still in the Army and stationed in Germany, so it was very hard to get started right away.I found a partner that was the typical Real Estate Agent, very salesy and kind of sleazy, but he had some knowledge and I needed to have a partner.
