And if necessary I will be able to afford the humanity and compassion involved in waiting for a tenant to get back on their feet. 

While this is a business, there is some room for compassion and common decency.  

Can you make business decisions without emotion or compassion.

For those actually hurting I hope landlords have compassion and help out as they can, but there are other people taking advantage of the situation who don't seem to realize that landlords have bills of their own to pay.

Very eye-opening, and may cause you to add some compassion for those in difficult situations.

As a business, you need to get to market value ASAP, but your compassion might say break it down over a two term period.

Have you looked at Lucaya or Compass bay???
