Hi @Cindy OBrienI would definitely say that the pandemic has affected NH real estate.There seems to be an exodus of urban refugees fleeing the more populated areas.

The property went up for sale again.And my dad had a rental, with a large eight room apartment which he rented to a family of four, Vietnam refugees.

I see momentum in the greater Northwest Indiana due to tax refugees from Chicago and/or Illinois.  

Modesto is getting refugees from the SF bay area housing / rental crisis.

We’re located in Charlotte and I’ve had several requests from refugees in the Ukraine war, some Russian, most from Ukraine.

This 1.3 million immigrants is broken down into 4 categories, Economic, Family, Refugee and Protected Persons, Humanitarian and Other.

With the words concerns like "view sheds",  "water security" and "climate refugees" becoming a more prevalent force in the lexicon I see the new forest plan as a key part of my investment strategy and one I use to guide clients in their land search. 

If I didn't already live in Indianapolis and have access to plenty of deals, I would consider investing in Hammond, Merrillville, Crown Point, or any of the smaller towns the ex-Chicago refugees are migrating too.

The only mention of occupancy that I could find was an archived memo from 10 years ago, with a nebulous statement about how "generally, three non-relatives is okay," or something along those lines.I'm currently living in a 3BR SFH with three other people; my landlord says there is zero guidance and occupancy is not something that is ever enforced, even during her previous appearances in eviction court.This is mind-blowing to me, as a refugee from another college town with absurd anti-landlord & anti-AirBnB rules (cough, cough Auburn, AL).
