I have not really looked into these but I have heard people say they are much better than the ones for property value.Also around hear most people will search out places on Craigslist so look up other places in Lawrence and see what they are going for.I don't know for sure but you can also take a look in the Eagle-Tribune online or hard copy and see if there are classified ads for places.

The appeal is first handled locally then if/when the local officials do not reduce it, it is appealed to the State Tax Tribunal.

You can go downtown and grab the joint action and forcible Entry from computer terminals (might be available at other locations not sure).Definitely a pain, but I've been able to get a deal from that.If you don't want to spend as much money, the delinquent list is published in Chicago Tribune(although I believe it was already printed).

An article in the Tribune a year or two ago said that there were only 12 in Aurora,  which is the second largest city in Illinois after Chicago,  and that some of them didn't appear to have ever been rented.
