One of the lease for a rental is about to expire and would like to change from single family to rent by the room and try, to market for regular leasing we normally go to Zillow and advertise for free, but for rent by the room not sure which of all the sites out there will be the best option(s), some of them are for free, majority pay a monthly or anual subscription ($99 to $200).Do you have any guidance on which to select?

He suggest we simply file for a regular permit, not mention the work was previously done, and when all the required work is done to bring the unit in compliance to the plans, have an inspection done, and approved.

A few things I learned on the process:- plan for 4-6 weeks for the unit to be approved by CHA, after you found a prospective, approved, tenant- if the tenant has children, be prepared for a stricter inspection (in particular regarding paint)- you can screen tenants the same way you would screen regular tenants, except for the income part- cashflow is normally better.
