Some will mount them on the roof of a retail building and others have a post with satellite on the corner of the building that runs to the tower.We had one before my client was looking at.

I like to utilize these tools when I am doing "mindless activities" such as washing dishes, getting ready for work in the morning, driving around, etc...My last piece of advice is find a local REIA which is like a real estate investors club.

Other things you need to factor in: utilities like satellite TV/internet (which, since the house probably doesn't have access to cable, internet can be An Issue), and will the HOAs allow short-term rentals?

With short-term rentals, you are responsible for those things but also things like pool care, lawn care, pest control, electrical, cable, furniture maintenance, dishes/towels/utensils/etc, cleanings, (you see where i'm going with this), essentially you are operating a hotel.

Go to google maps and look at satellite picture and 'walk' down the street and see what businesses are next to his and contact them and ask, if the business is still in existence .
