It can range from knowing how to time your Spring listing specifically between March Madness opening weekend and the Masters... to spending that extra 5k on landscaping to better showcase a feature... to bringing in that unbiased female (opposite sex) to give you feedback that you reluctantly applied to the design.Finding like-minded founders is important to me as the experiences are easier to compare.

It's better to be known as being a person who is fair with everyone then have a reputation of being shady or even worse a person who discriminates based on race, sex or disability.

It outlawed: Refusal to sell or rent a dwelling to any person because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.Discrimination based on race, color, religion or national origin in the terms, conditions or privilege of the sale or rental of a dwelling.Advertising the sale or rental of a dwelling indicating preference of discrimination based on race, color, religion or national origin.Coercing, threatening, intimidating, or interfering with a person's enjoyment or exercise of housing rights based on discriminatory reasons or retaliating against a person or organization that aids or encourages the exercise or enjoyment of fair housing rights.I'm wondering if NACA borrowers are protected because the discrimination by realtors/sellers is towards NACA not the actual borrower.

ya maybe being able to choose your own tenant and disregard discrimination laws for race religion sex disability because you owner occ one of the units.. falls under something different but it is federal law.. unless prohibited by state county or city.. the owner of a 1 to 4 unit who lives in one of the units does not have to follow the selection rules..

As most have already said, as long as you haven't accepted them yet, you should be fine as long as your decision follows the Fair Housing Act (meaning you're declining of their application is not based on Race, Color, National Origin, Religion, Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), Familial Status, or Disability).
