Many people are hoping that the Texas Medical Center will keep the economy in good condition, but without the gifts and endowments from the generouse  people working at the Oil and Gas sector, not much growth can be expected.

So if you are a good enough salesperson to convince an Ivy League endowment, a family office, or a sovereign wealth fund to invest....well you make something even if you're a loser.

Many have the attitude to seek exceptions or ways around something rather than accepting restrictions or the rules of the game, almost as if they don't apply to them or they are so endowed with some superior gene that they can get by with whatever.
