I personally think anyone recommending it either got very lucky or is dishonest.

But a single house out of state won't justify a PM and you can get a bad PM that is dishonest and incompetent.

Add to that, I'm in Central NJ so nothing is cheap.I've read about assigning contracts and all that ron legrand-type stuff, but it all seems scammy if not illegal, and I refuse to run a dishonest business.

He's a very smart person but I found it intellectually dishonest to ignore all the landlords that have become millionaires through D-Class properties. why not explain the positives in negatives and let individuals make up their own minds or learn through their own experience?

Again your making a claim about something I didn't say, which is totally dishonest. 

In a country with a minimum wage rate of $2.50 people get pushed to the honest or dishonest side really quickly.  

As far as generalizing , contractors seem to be looked down upon ad beer drinking , lazy , dishonest idiots with no financial sense that are always looking to rip someone off .

They are dishonest and incompetent.  

I hope you enjoy your stay despite the rocky start, and please know that your fellow BPers in this forum do not do business in such a dishonest way.

Also remember you're only not going to buy it if it's been misrepresented so who cares if you upset dishonest TK's?
